Unregiftable
Each year, VistaPrint runs a holiday campaign targeting our lifestyle consumers purchasing holiday cards and customized gifts. In 2020, our campaign was based off the insight that people wanted to connect more with each other in the gifts they were sending, as Covid was preventing a lot of face-to-face get-togethers. Standard, off-the-shelf gifts were not as thoughtful and meaningful and gifts made especially for someone. And those custom gifts are not able to be regifted, not just because they are unique, but because they mean something to the recipients.
The Unregiftable campaign consisted of an anthem 30-second spot and two 15-second spots focused on gifts made for the special people in your life. Set to an altered version of Nat King Cole’s Unforgettable, the films strike the right kind of humor and sentimentality or the season of Covid.
We partnered with Giant Spoon and director Ben Callner on the broadcast, and ran the spots in the US, UK and France.
The Campaign
The essence of “Unregiftable” was brought through the funnel with whimsical product photography and clever copy celebrating the unique gifts made just for the loved ones in our customers’ lives. We created a copy system that ran the gamut from breakthrough and attention-grabbing, to direct and functional.
